Who's Getting Your Bible?

Updated: Jan 1

We often think about legacy primarily in financial terms. But could it be that we are missing the most important component of a legacy?

"I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food." Job 23:12

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Our greatest legacy is our family! A family that knows and loves Jesus is far more important than rubies.

Take a few minutes today and write down in a document or on paper who will be getting your Bible when you enter into glory.

Even better, take some time and figure out a plan for daily family discipleship if you haven't yet. If your children are older it's not too late! You can get together weekly for lunch or dinner.

You can do it! Start today, it's not too late.
