Choosing the color and number of ribbons can often cause a great deal of angst in some of our amazing customers. “Not you of course”. Today we are once for all going to answer the question:

What is the perfect number of ribbons to have in your Bible? As for the colors you are still on your own…

5 is an ideal number for full-size Bibles (9 x 6 x 1.5 or larger),

Here’s how I break them down:

1. Churches’ sermon series

2. Family discipleship chapter

3. Proverbs (we all need wisdom)

4. Psalms (we all need the Psalms)

5. “Wild card” to mark anything else of interest at the time

On top of using more ribbons than Joseph’s dream coat, I recommend using a solid Bible reading system daily. Our favorite is the Professor Grant Horner System.
